Some of you will remember when you took the SAT’s for college entrance. It was to test your knowledge.

GOLF S.A.T. is similar, but it is a 4 part program design to, first, evaluate your ability to score, and secondly, to develop a Plan to help you Improve. The Evaluation phase consist of two, on course, monitored, playing test.

You can do the test without a Monitor, but that is not recommended. There is too much data to record and it is only a distraction to the actual test.

PLAYING TEST #1: The Money Shot

•You will play 18 holes.
•You will hit the Driver on all Par-4 and Par-5 holes (unless it calls for a layup).
•You will be scored on direction and contact.
•You then retrieve your tee-ball.
•The next shot is placed and played from 50 yards for the Ladies & 100 yards for the Gentlemen
•You finish the hole and record your score.

The Monitor will record all pertinent data to be used later for the Improvement Plan.

PLAYING TEST #2: The Double Mulligan

•The Double Mulligan will reveal your potential for your current skill level.
•You will play 18 holes using the tees you normally play.
•You can use up to “2” mulligan’s on any shot.
•You play the best, either shot 1, or two, or shot 3. Just like a one or two person scramble.
•You finish the hole and record your score.

The Monitor will record all pertinent data to finalize the Improvement Plan.

PART 3: You will sit with a Golf Instructor and discuss the results of both PLAYING TEST. Your weakest skills will be evident.

PART 4: You and your instructor will putt together an Improvement-Practice-Play Plan to help you score better. Scoring better is always more FUN! At the end of the day all anyone asks is, “What did you shoot?”
